Account deletion

Customers and providers can permanently delete their account from Profile settings in the website and mobile app. Administrators must use the managed administrator process.

What is deleted immediately

Your identity, contact details, credentials, profile, saved searches and providers, saved learning resources, search history, email preferences and delivery history, waitlist entry, active sessions, and related app data are removed. Provider listings and hosted media are also deleted.

Limited retention

Permitted incident case metadata remains; your identifying report text, user identity, and email are removed. Security and abuse records are pseudonymized and expire after 24 months. Billing and required contract evidence may be retained separately for 7 years. These periods are operating defaults subject to launch-time legal and tax review.

Backups and recovery

Deleted data in backups is placed beyond use and expires through the normal backup rotation. It is not restored for ordinary product use. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Providers must first resolve active, trialing, or past-due subscriptions from Billing. If Stripe cannot delete the customer record, local deletion does not proceed and can be retried.
